Welcome to the Ole Front Porch

Welcome to the Ole Front Porch...a place where neighbors are always welcomed!  Come on up & have a seat on the old rustic swing.  This is my favorite spot to just lean back & let the world go by, a place where life seems just a bit less complicated.  For me the Front Porch  is a very special place where I reminisce my wonderful childhood memories.  I have sweet memories all the way from peeling peaches, breakin' beans, brother Bill strummin' on the ole Guitar and Momma and I lifting our voices in a melodious song.  After supper the family would all gather on the front porch catchin' up with daily life while listening to the lonesome Whippoorwill call and watching us kids catch fireflies.  I can still see my Daddy setting in the swing, watchin' the storm clouds roll in, always keeping a watchful eye during the Midwest Tornado weather.   Also, the Swing was a great place to grab a comfy pillow & take a good nap. The back & forth motion lulls one to sleep like a baby.  So grab yourself a cup of good coffee or a cool glass of Ice Tea.  Join me out on the Ole Front Porch...a place where Friends are always welcome!
